Teaching Tuesday – Book of Psalms – Delight & Meditation

Hi friends – Introducing Teaching Tuesdays! There are a few things to expect on Teaching Tuesday. I will be praying for you. I will also pray that the truth you read will be deeply rooted in your heart. There is so much to discover and I look forward to discovering the book of Psalms with you.

Review – Take a few moments to read Psalm 1: 1-4.

Receive – In verse two the word delight means to enjoy or find joy and happiness in something. The word meditate means to spend quiet time thinking about something. I pray that you will find delight and joy as you meditate on this scripture.

Respond in Prayer – Dear Lord Jesus, Help me find delight in your word as I spend time with you. In the name of Jesus – Amen

Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers.

Until next time my friends, remember you are known and loved by God. Blessings!
