Manna Monday – The Lord of Peace

Hi friends – I think we all need a little (or a lot) of peace deepening on the season we are in. It might be family conflict, unsettling health news, financial challenges, job loss or navigating your emotions. Life is full of unknowns and sometimes we need a little peace. The thought of peace seems a distance unknown. There was a time in my life when peace did seem distant and then I realized something. God’s plan is perfect for me and I had to release my life into God’s hands. The peace that I received in those moments was miraculous and amazing. That peace can only come from God.

Review – Take a look at Judges 6:22-24

Receive – True peace is a gift from God. Jevohah-Shalom means the Lord is peace. God wants each one of us to have and receive his peace. It is a wonderful gift to receive and I challenge you to put your life struggles in His hands and receive His peace.

Respond in prayer – Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you Lord for giving me peace in a variety of ways. You know me so well and you know where I need peace. You know where my challenges are and you know when to intervene. Help me to follow your lead. Amen.

When Gideon saw he was the angel of the Lord, he said, ‘Alas, O Lord GOD! For now I have seen the angel face to face. The Lord said to him, Peace to you, do not fear; you shall not die. Then Gideon built an altar there to the LORD and named it The LORD is Peace.”  Judges 6:22-24

Until next time my friends, remember you are known and loved by God, Blessings!
