Teaching Tuesday – Psalm 18

Hi friends – This Psalm starts by saying “I love you Lord my strength”. As we look at this Psalm, remember that God loves you and wants to spend time with you.

Review – Psalm 18:1-2

Receive – The word love in verse one means to have compassion or show mercy. The meaning of rock in verse two means God as a rock and focuses on stability. What a beautiful picture that God shows us. He is compassionate, the stability we need in difficult seasons and never leaves us.

Respond in prayer – Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for being a compassionate Father who cares deeply for me. Remind me of your everlasting love today in a fresh new way. Amen

I love you, Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
    my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
    my shield[b] and the horn[c] of my salvation, my stronghold.

Until next time my friends remember you are known and loved by God. Blessings!
