Manna Monday – El-Shaddai – Almighty God

Hi friends – Today we are going to look at the book of Genesis and God Almighty. Let’s take a look at a conversation between God and Abram. Be mindful of what El-Shaddai means and receive that truth into your heart today.

Review – Take a look at Genesis 17:1 – In this scripture, God speaks to Abram and says “I am almighty God”. El Shaddai means Almighty God.

Receive – This scripture highlights the relationship that Abraham has with God. This is the type of conversation that God wants and longs to have with us. The word conversation means to spend time with someone and share information. God’s conversations with us are far more meaningful than our earthly conversations because they are with God almighty the Creator of heaven and earth. The other meaning of El-Shaddai is He nurtures, He gives life and He pours out blessings. God wants to connect with you and He wants to bless you.

Respond in prayer – Dear Lord, Thank you for being God Almighty, the Creator of all things. Thank you that you care for me and want to bless me. Amen.

Genesis 17:1 – When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty ; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.

Until next time my friends remember you are known and loved by God. Blessings!
